Great Salt Council

Salt Lake City, UT Type U Issued '99  OA  El-KuTa #520

Description: This new CSP features the same basic design, but the Council name has been enlarged and the oxen have changed colors. The Wasatch Mountains, which border Salt Lake City to the east, are shown in purple. The city skyline is black and depicts the capitol building, the Mormon Temple, and the urban mountain area. In the foreground is a covered wagon, led by oxen, representing the region’s pioneer heritage. On the right are sea gulls, the state birds. The sky is orange for the great sunsets found in the area. The yellow and gold represent the Council’s desert region.
